Those Bibs

Over the weekend, no riding but plenty of bad news...

--Still down about the Packers losing out on a chance to get to the Super Bowl

--4" of snow has now coated everything outside

--7 degrees this morning

--My wife's aunt passed away unexpectedly on Sunday also.

To say I mounted the bike today uninspired would be an understatement. But I did a Carmichael and got 10 uneventful miles in.

As I was riding something funny occurred to me.

I looked up and saw one of the photos I have on display in my cycling room area.

Here it is...

Note the date on this picture from a race I was in...2007.

The funny thing is that I was wearing those same bibs today!

I'm not sure what it is, but I have a hard time throwing away old bibs. They go from a regular rotation during the outdoor season into the pile of those deemed fit for at least the trainer during winter.

But even THAT must have it's limits.

I feels like it is past time to finally move on from these.

What say you cyclists?
