Bare Legs
One day.
We are getting one single day with above-average temperatures before the bottom falls out and the next two weeks are below normal temps.
So, while I did take advantage with a few miles, I also had other duties call in the morning. The first portion of my day was spent digging a trench from my house to my garage to expose the failed wires sending power out there. It was a muddy mess, but it saves me some money because the less time the electrician has to spend at my house the less my bill will be.
But it meant a lot of stretching and lifting that my legs are not set up for, so when I started to ride, I had nothing in them. And after 16 miles they were aching like crazy, and I had had enough.
As warm as it was for this time of year (67) I stopped back at home after the first lap to put on a wind jacket. There was on stretch riding into the wind coming off Lake Winnebago that was just way too cool for bare arms. So I settled for the first bare legs of the season.
