A Stinker

That was rather ugly.

For the first time in this indoor training season I struggled on the bike. I had nothing, as in the gas can was empty from the start.

This felt 'off' from the time I pulled on bibs and started to stretch pre-ride.

There was no energy whatsoever in the tank. The thing is, I'm not sure why, especially considering the fact that I was coming off a rest day.

I went through a robotic, easy version of a Carmichael, and by the 41st minute I seriously considered just stopping short of the required 45 min.

Only 9.7 miles, a full mile under the usual number for a Carmichael, is proof of how easy I had to take it, and still I felt like junk the entire time.

Oh well.

Chalk one up for the bad guys and move on to better things I hope.
