It has been a while since I've been on the bike, and today I just wanted to ease back into the saddle on what was a very windy day with gusts 20-25 mph.

So I did a Lake Loop lap and six laps on the Neighborhood Crit course. Nothing fancy here, and I didn't want to venture out into the countryside this afternoon.

This one was just about burning some calories and getting off the couch.

Finally it warmed up a bit today, into the 70's with what was supposed to be sunshine. Well, it KINDA was sunshine.

Hazy I would call it. I was told this is some of the California wildfire smoke drifting all the way to Wisconsin.

Crazy conditions out there.

This sky is unreal.

Nothing like that here, but there is a bit of an eerie haze not letting the sunshine get all the way through to us.

Physically, you could tell it has been too long on that couch.
