Two Verts
For the first time in a few days the sun came out this afternoon, leading me to get outside and get a little exercise.
Mind you, this wasn't great weather, just sufficient compared to the horror of most of this week.
50 degrees and sunny, but riding near Lake Winnebago with a lake breeze is NOT warm.
Yet I chuckled when I saw two fancy sports cars, one a BMW the other a Mercedes, both with the top down tooling along in the cold wind past my bike.
Want to guess the gender of the drivers of both cars?
That's an easy one.
Men.
Why?
Because women are smarter than that!
I learned something today about that cold wind too. The first two lake loop laps felt pretty good, but then the two laps in my neighborhood were colder than anything I had felt out on the lake loop.
I called it quits at an even two laps of each route.
I felt okay today, just not all that inspired. Still, glad to have gotten a little exercise and feeling like I have at least earned a little bit of the chicken parmesan I'm cooking tonight.
