Differences

Lest you think there are not major differences between inside and outside riding, well let the last couple days be an example.

After Sunday's surprise 20-mile outdoor ride on my primary bike, I took Monday off to rest. Why?

Differences.

It's a different bike. It's a different saddle. It's a different feel.

My hip replacement side was barking with stiffness and just plain nagging me Monday.

Differences.

So that's why I did a basic Carmichael today on the Klein on the trainer inside. I wanted to ease back into the feel of that bike spinning as opposed to what I call 'real' riding outside on my primary bike. Switching back and forth, because of all the differences, it NOT a good thing for me.

But I felt better today, even though it has to be inside riding. I better get used to it. After all, it's only February in Wisconsin.
