The Story

After another weekend of no workouts, except my elbow as I am shoving food down my piehole while watching TV, it felt good to break a sweat today, even if it has to be INSIDE on a trainer.

I decided to just ride to the 10-mile mark, no matter how long that took, rather than do a timed ride. What pushed this one over the top was the mile 8 to 9, where I put it in a bigger gear and huffed and puffed my way to the 9-mile mark. Man oh man you talk about that seeming to take forever as you watch the tenth-of-a-mile meter slowly count up until you hit mile nine.

Then I took it easy to make that final mile a cool-down time for the workout. I'll do this again this week in an effort to get my breathing under better control during the effort mile.
