The Story

What a nice picture.

When I first saw this toward the end of today's ride I went past it at first, only to turn around and go back for a quick stop and photo.

It was too pretty to pass up.

It was also rather cold today despite the nice sunshine. 46 degrees.

It was only a short 12-mile ride, but I was glad I got out there today, as the chances for me to ride yet this year are now fleeting.

I don't do well in the cold.

And it's funny because I had three layers on top with full-length bibs down under and a balaclava under my helmet with full-fingered gloves too.

Still, I felt a chill after stopping to take this picture, so I called it a ride at 12 miles.

On one of those miles I saw a guy walking on the side of the road wearing nothing more than a T-shirt and shorts.

Eskimos I guess!
