The Story
The Sunflowers.
I went back to take a ride past the sunflower fields today, drawn by the beauty of them all packed in tightly and turning toward Mr. Sunshine once again.
Heading out it was into a stiff headwind the entire way. There was a lack of energy throughout my body, and mind. I knew it. I also knew the wind was making this more effort than I cared for right out of the blocks.
One trick I use in these cases is to just count my blessings, look around and take in the scenery on a wonderful summer afternoon and thank the good Lord for the day and the health and ability to simply be out here enjoying life.
A reader and listener, Sue D. had sent me an email asking where this is. As I say in the short clip....just to repeat in case you want to ride past them too....
This is on Fairview....just west of Neenah....east of Center St. Coming from the east heading west on Fairview they'll be on the your left before you get to Center. Heading east on Fairview toward Neenah they will be on your right.
