The Story

It is somewhat amazing to me how cold 64 degrees can feel on a bike, especially coming off a recent stretch of unusually-warm temps for this time of year.

My nose was running for the entire 20 miles. I must have drained a quart of snot on this ride!

I was cold too. I thought about arm warmers as I prepared to go out, but no, I wanted to get some sun on my still-lily-white arms.

I saw a couple of other riders out there today wearing wind jackets. Even better.

Oh well. How I yearn for the heat and humidity of Florida, very jealous of the fact that my old pal Jerry is down there soaking it in as a Floridian now.

Some day.

Other than that I felt pretty good today. I'll be going over the 500-mile mark for the season very soon. Steady as she goes.
