The Story

Apparently I have reached the age where stretching before shoveling snow is required in order to avoid injury!

No lie, I pulled a groin muscle on the right side while shoveling snow on Sunday morning.

That'll teach me to not use the snow blower.

I was all full of myself choosing to get some exercise rather than firing up the old machine, which I did eventually do any way.

The injury didn't really show up until after I completed clearing our rather expansive walkway and driveway on Super Bowl Sunday morning.

Still hurting a bit today, I decided to keep it in one easy gear and just try to complete an interval spin session, which I was able to do.

But as they say, "I ain't quite right just yet."

I suspect this may take a while to totally heal enough so that it is no bother on the bike. We shall see.

And once again to review this workout for you;

10:00 warming up

10:00 cooling down

The middle 10:00 rotating :30 seconds of fast pedal with :30 seconds of recovery.

You never shift a gear, you just increase rpm's.
