The Story

Well, my new gloves were broken in on the coldest ride of the fall thus far today.

The first snot ever was wiped on these babies today!

I bought them over at Appleton Bike Shop Saturday, figuring I would need to replace my worn out old ones for a planned Packer-less Sunday ride.

And they were much needed.

With a temp of 39 and a wind chill at 33 degrees, this ride had a little bite to it. But the new gloves kept my hands toasty, even for this cold-weather weenie. Money well spent.

I also pulled on full shoe covers for the jaunt today, because cold feet just ain't no treat!

I felt fine today turning my laps, in need of some exercise.

Kinda sad to do lap after lap seeing not a single boat in a slip any longer on the stretch where I ride along a marina.

I guess, as they say, 'tis the season, and I think the trainer isn't far away at this point. But I'll keep going outside on the Roubaix until the first snow hits the roads. Then it's time for the Klein on that trainer up in my manttic.
