The Story
The shortest ride of the season perhaps, and it was for a couple of reasons.
First of all, I haven't felt wind like that since back in April when the wind is always strong.
It was moving the front of my bike around as I went over a bridge today, taking the Little GTO Route start, but not knowing what I would really do.
Also, I just didn't have much energy.
My heart wasn't really into it today, and the weather seemed to be changing for the worse in a hurry.
The wind made it challenging, and then what sun was left out went away in a hurry. With dark clouds and a call for rain blowing in I decided to turn around early.
I had seen a little path/walkway area on the way out so I decided to go back and jump on that thing just to explore for a bit.

Now I do not know who Bill Miller is, but I somehow ended up on a path named after him.
It wasn't much of a path, and all it lead me to was startling a lady walking her two dogs as I came up behind her.
"I didn't hear you," she said with a bit of scolding in her voice.
"That's because I didn't make any noise," I thought to myself in my smart-ass voice.
I smiled, remained silent and went around her and her pups.
Looks like rain any minute already as I write this. They say the humidity and heat will be gone by tomorrow, so I guess this might have been the last ride of the 2017 season that felt like summer.
But I hope not!
